  • Are you an experienced professional ready to take on a dynamic role as a Product Application Specialist? We are looking for a specialist who will engage with customers, to support sales efforts, track technical metrics, and build strong technical relationships with customer end-users. The role requires you to Collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders including Marketing, Product Management, and R&D among others. The role requires you to stay informed on product updates, qualify leads, achieve sales targets, and ensure seamless coordination with Operations.   • Communicate with customers, by making outbound visits/ calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Support sales team members in customer engagement activities as appropriate.
  • Track and analyse trend metrics related to technical customer engagements for the India sales team.
  • Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with targeted key accounts.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product Management and R&D to support the development of applications data for new and existing products and services.
  • Understand and communicate competitive landscape and potential for future products and services to Marketing and
    Product Management.
  • Answer potential customers' questions and send additional information via email communications.
  • Keep up-to-date with product and service information and updates.
  • Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers.
  • Explain and demonstrate features of products and services.
  • Stay informed and collect information about competing products and services.
  • Upsell products and services.
  • Research and qualify new leads.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Coordinate closely with both Operations and Customers if needed.
  • Visit customers along with the Field Sales, where necessary.
  • Develop strong relationships and communication with Customers, Field Sales, Engineering Team, and Operations.


  • 3 TO 5 years of experience Product Application in Biopharma Process Industry preferably upstream/downstream processing
  • B.E Industrial Engineering / Biotechnology /Life science graduate
  • Tech savvy with an experience in operating in MS Office, experience of working on ERP/CRM will be a plus
  • Good knowledge of commercials terms
  • Highly motivated and innovative
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
